HANNA LEE

Scroll down for a 2003 update

Hi Dawn,
I thought I'd write and let you know how Hannah ( Daizi/Wizard's pup) is doing. She is now 7mths old and a perfect doll. I've attached recent pictures so you can see what a gorgeous little girl she has grown into. Ok, so maybe I'm a biased mom, but she really is a sweetheart. She is not growing much now and is still small at 7lbs. When will she be fully grown? She isn't as big as I thought she would be, but is still a perfect size for me. I take her to obedience class and puppy agility twice a week, she loves it! She comes reliably when called, knows how to heel, stay until released, down etc. She does better than all the "smart" dogs (german shepherds) in class and is a real show off. She is friendly and trusting to everyone, and is the biggest cuddlebug, always wants to be on my lap or curled up next to me. She is really quiet, never barks, just makes little noises when she wants to tell me something. She is totally potty trained now too. I could go on forever about what a great dog she is, but I'm just so happy with her. I'm taking her to dogscout camp in july for a week, that should be alot of fun too. Ok, so I spoil and love her to pieces, but she returns all that and more. She's been so much fun and so easy to train that I might want to add another pup to the family sometime. Thanks for such a lovely girl, and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

10/11/2003 UPDATE

Dear Dawn,

I haven't updated you in a while about Hannah (Daizi and Wizard).  I hope you and your family are well, I still love going to your website and looking at the puppies.  We've had a lot going on in our lives, including a big move from Washington DC to Singapore.  Hannah and I flew 24 hrs to get here, thankfully she was able to travel in the cabin with me.  She also had to undergo a one month quarantine upon arrival in Singapore, we are so glad that's over.  She's adjusting nicely to life here in Asia, everyone can't believe how sweet and well behaved she is.  My mom is amazed at how quiet she is, and how well she listens to me.  I've met several other shih tzu owners here, and they all remark on how wonderful her temperament is.  She is friendly and outgoing to everyone, which is why I'm bringing her to be tested to become a therapy dog next month.  I think she will make an excellent therapy dog for hospitals and nursing homes.  They have pet therapy programs here in Singapore that are similar to the U.S.  We will be living here for 2 years before returning to the States.

Hannah is 2 yrs old now, and still the light of my life.  I take her everywhere with me, and everyone spoils her silly.  I have attached a couple of pictures that were taken today, hope you enjoy seeing how Hannah has grown up into a gorgeous little girl.

 Best regards,

Sheen and Hannah Lee

A 2005 update from Singapore...

Hi Dawn,

Hannah (DOB Aug 21st 2001) was in a fashion show here in Singapore.

She wore a crystal tiara and was carried down the catwalk by a model.

I thought you might like to see pictures of her during the show.  She

wasn't fazed by the bright lights and noise at all.  She really stole

the show.  She turns 4 this year and is the brightest, happiest puppy

in the world.
